 In 2001 the Demuro family, owners of Vigne Surrau, decided to purchase vineyards in Arzachena. Today, Vigne Surrau consists of 60 hectares in eight different locations across the eastern side of Gallura, Sardinia, Limizzani is the name of a mystical site from the ancient Mediterranean civilizations.

Sardinia is home to some of the finest Vermentino and the Vigne Surrau can be counted among them.  Their Vermentino is fresh, layered, and pure with good concentration and structure, and zippy acidity. The bold palate doles out flavors of saline, lime, lemon, minerals, green apple, ginger, almonds, and flowers. A winner with shellfish and fish.
