The estate’s origins date back to the mid-1800s, when Giuseppe Mascarello purchased of his own vineyards and cellars in 1881.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe Monprivato cru is only bottled – with a numbered label – in outstanding and excellent vintages. It's complex, nuanced, elegant, balanced, powerful with great detail and precision and the stuffing to last for decades. Full bodied with moderate acidity and good grip. The evolving palate presents flavors of cherry, strawberry, leather, tar, tobacco, oak, and flowers.
