This is one of the great traditional expressions of Barolo, rooted in site and time.\r\rVinification is entirely classic: long fermentations with native yeasts in concrete tanks (often over 30 days), followed by extended aging in large Slavonian oak botti for 34 years, and further bottle refinement before release. No barriques, no shortcuts.\r\rThe wine is powerful yet refined, with dark cherry, dried rose, tobacco, licorice, and a mineral backbone. Tannins are firm and noble, built for aging but already harmonious in great vintages.
