Brendel Noble One Unoaked Napa Valley Chardonnay

Brendel is a new project from the esteemed Heitz Cellar winery in Napa. This wine is a much crisper, and more refreshing style of Chardonnay from vineyards primarily in the cooler Oak Knoll district. To preserve the brighter, crisper style of the Chardonnay, the wine is aged in stainless steel instead of oak barrel. Zesty citrus and green apple notes abound, but there’s still a richer texture that’s unmistakably Chardonnay.
